We are seeking a property Maintenance Technician to assist with our facilities management. This is a Full-Time position, and you MUST be available to work weekends.
Requirements:
- Direct work experience in property maintenance
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects and work in occasionally poor weather conditions including rain, heat and cold
- Food & beverage equipment experience preferred
- Organization - detail oriented, able to balance multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Communication – able to effectively communicate (verbally, in person & digitally) with coworkers, vendors, management and customers while maintaining a calm and positive demeanor.
- Technical – prior experience with the operation of hand and power tools, large appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC system
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing and replacing electrical and mechanical components.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments and ensure timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding or other techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Proficient in using tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
