The Opportunity
The Manufacturing Team Lead – Production will play a critical leadership role overseeing production across all manufacturing lines, including cable assemblies, enclosures, control panels, and portions of quality control.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who deeply understands the industry and can train, guide, and hold teams accountable across multiple production disciplines.
The ideal candidate comes from a direct competitor or closely aligned contract manufacturer and can step in with minimal ramp-up time.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily production operations across cable assemblies, enclosures, and control panels
- Provide hands-on leadership and training across all manufacturing areas
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and support portions of QC processes
- Coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and customer commitments
- Train team members on sheet metal, wire harness, and cable assembly processes
- Monitor performance, productivity, and workmanship
- Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency
- Maintain a safe, organized, and audit-ready production environment
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and operations leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Approximately 2 years of industry-specific manufacturing experience
- Direct experience with sheet metal, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and control panels
- Experience working for a direct competitor or closely aligned contract manufacturer strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to train team members across multiple production areas
- Strong understanding of quality control processes
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and accountability
- Ability to step in and contribute immediately with minimal training
Industry-specific experience is a non-negotiable requirement. This role requires someone who understands the technical nature of the work and can confidently lead from Day 1.
