Position Overview
We’re looking for a personable, detail-oriented host/hostess to join our studio team. This role blends traditional cafe style front of house responsibilities with the unique atmosphere of a paint-your-own-pottery environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a creative space, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and contributes to a positive, memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and answer café-related questions
- Take and process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management
- Assist with basic studio tasks such as resetting tables, guiding guests on studio flow, or relaying questions to the studio team
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Contribute to a friendly, collaborative work environment
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working around art supplies and a family-friendly environment
- Weekend availability is strongly preferred
