Front of House Team Member – Café / Quick Service Restaurant
Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Team Member and become the welcoming face of our bustling café and quick-service restaurant. In this fast-paced, energetic role, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service, ensure food safety standards are upheld, and help create a positive, memorable experience for every guest.
We are currently hiring for multiple Front of House positions, including Host, Server, Bartender, and Busser.
Pay Rates:
- Host: Starting at $12.00/hour
- Server: Starting at $2.13/hour tips
- Bartender: Starting at $7.00/hour tips
- Busser: Starting at $5.00/hour tips
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Take orders accurately and process transactions using the HungerRush POS system
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including bussing tables and organizing workspaces
- Upsell menu items through friendly recommendations to enhance the guest experience
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy and confidence
- Support team members across all front-of-house roles to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, fast food, retail, or restaurant front-of-house roles is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic math calculations
- Experience with POS systems (HungerRush, Aloha, Micros) is a plus; training will be provided
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weight, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
- Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
- Must be available to work weekends
