Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS, accurately processing cash and card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Develop innovative beverage recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting while adhering to brand standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beers, wines, and mixers; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic and committment to providing excellent service.
- Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and food industry standards is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like catering events or large community events.
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and cash handling; cocktail experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality industry standards—catering experience is advantageous.
