Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for a commercial Metal Stud Framer located in Vero Beach, FL. The Framer will be responsible for assembling and constructing cold-formed metal stud framing for new walls and ceilings, installing drywall, ensuring the precise measurements and cutting of materials, adhering to safety protocols and assuring all structures are securely fastened. The Framer will also collaborate with other construction personnel to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Experience in metal stud framing, measuring, and cutting
- Experience in installing drywall and related materials
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical stamina and strength for various construction tasks
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous construction experience is a plus
- Able to speak and/or understand Spanish is a plus
