Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment
- Manage laundry services efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and precision
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a spotless environment
- Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with custodial tasks such as waste removal, window cleaning, and deep cleaning projects to uphold cleanliness standards
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring a comfortable stay for all visitors
- Support overall facility upkeep by performing houseman duties such as moving furniture, setting up event spaces, and maintaining storage areas
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Demonstrated custodial experience with attention to detail and efficiency
- Ability to manage laundry operations with care for fabric quality and stain removal techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus but not required
