Are you a detail-oriented engineering professional passionate about infrastructure safety and construction oversight? We’re seeking a highly skilled Encroachment Engineer III to bolster our Operations team in Downtown Houston, TX. This pivotal role focuses on evaluating and mitigating risks related to construction activities near our pipeline facilities, ensuring the safety and integrity of our infrastructure through expert engineering evaluations and seamless coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners. What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 0-8 years of experience in field/project engineering, utility coordination, or encroachment engineering.
- Strong ability to analyze construction drawings, perform stress and seismic evaluations, and write clear, technical reports.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with third parties, internal departments, and regulatory agencies.
- Proficiency in marking-up engineering or DOT construction drawings.
- Experience in utility coordination or oil & gas industry is a plus.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with GIS, Google Maps, Blue Beam, and related software.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Knowledge of dredging activities and their impact on pipelines.
- Texas PE licensure or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience working with utility coordination and encroachment projects.
- Familiarity with federal and state pipeline safety regulations.

- Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities as needed.
