Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of unconventional design experience, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities
- At least 5 years of oil & gas industry experience, with a focus on facilities engineering
- Proven ability to tackle unconventional design challenges with innovative solutions
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with operations and construction teams
- Ability to perform field visits, including trips to Carlsbad and surrounding areas, approximately 2 days every two weeks for data collection and site walks
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, site assessments, and handover procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with field data collection and project handovers
- Familiarity with field operations and construction coordination
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant oil & gas industry experience, emphasizing facilities and unconventional design projects
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel to Carlsbad and surrounding field sites approximately every two weeks
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with unconventional design projects
- Effective communication skills
