What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Room Attendant (GRA) position at The Benson Hotel?
The Benson Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking high-energy and dedicated Room Attendants.
Hotel experience is preferred and excellent customer service skills a must! We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting and working on a professional and friendly level.
This is a full time or part time, union position. Qualified candidates must be dedicated, focused and have excellent customer service skills. The ability to work independently with high productivity, have a positive attitude and be flexible with job demands is a definite plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms
- Make beds, vacuum, clean glass and bathrooms
- Keep housekeeping closets organized and clean.
- Delivers products to departments, if needed.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments
- Ability to work in a cooperative manner as part of a team
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule. Physical Requirements:
- Walk or stand up to 8 hours per day
- Must be able to lift and push/pull 75 pounds.
- All mobility motions are required (standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing)
