Loan Operations Specialist, Salina KS

The Loan Operations Specialist supports the full loan lifecycle—from processing and booking through funding and servicing. This role ensures loan documentation, system boarding, and ongoing loan maintenance are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The specialist works closely with lenders, loan portfolio managers, and retail teams to deliver a smooth and positive loan experience for customers.

How You’ll Contribute

• Prepare and maintain loan documentation for new, renewed, commercial, and consumer loans
• Review approved loan packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to booking
• Accurately and timely board new loans into the core processing system
• Track, monitor, and clear documentation exceptions and ticklers
• Process loan advances, payoffs, payments, adjustments, and corrections
• Monitor escrow accounts, insurance coverage, and collateral documentation
• Complete escrow disbursements and conduct escrow analyses as required
• Respond to customer, lender, and internal inquiries regarding loan accounts
• Work collaboratively with lending staff and operations teams to resolve issues
• Assist with problem resolution, exception handling, and ongoing account maintenance
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Laser Pro or other loan processing software preferred
• Ability and willingness to learn bank operating systems and procedures
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• A self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented approach
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior banking or loan operations experience is a plus but not required
  
  

Hours

Full time hours Monday-Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM
