The Ben West Palm Hotel is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team!
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, development, execution, and tracking of the hotel’s marketing programs and will play a crucial role social media and event activations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
- Maintain & refine brand voice and tone across all marketing channels
- Plan, draft and develop organic content to use across all social media channels for the hotel, F&B outlets, and events based on hotel needs and seasonality. This includes photography, video, and written content.
- Write and publish regular, engaging content, compelling social campaigns, posts, and other content across FB, IG, and TikTok
- Manage monthly content calendar with assistance from Corporate Marketing and PR team as needed
- Manage paid social marketing development, strategy, execution, and reporting using existing marketing ad budget.
- Work with Public Relations team to manage inquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations
- Work alongside PR team to manage on-site media and influencer stays to curate The Ben brand experience
- Research and build relationships with influencers that support The Ben brand
- Track, analyze, and report all media coverage for hotel and restaurant outlets on a monthly basis
- Organize and execute individual site visits and group FAM press trips including itineraries and travel schedules
- Work with website agency to update and maintain website information, including new menus, upcoming events, special packages, amenity changes, etc
. • Plan, draft, and execute email campaigns, including reporting on KPIs (clicks, CTR, revenue, room nights, etc.)
- Proactively monitor, engage and communicate with our audience, responding to comments/reviews/complaints/inquiries/concerns, in a timely manner
- Identify new social media opportunities and maximize existing opportunities
- Maintaining weekly/monthly reporting on all marketing activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community, businesses, and organizations to generate marketing opportunities
- Support hotel team in on-site promotions and events; This may include nights and weekends (photography, coverage)
- Assist in coordination and execution of repeat and one-off events
- Develop, plan, and execute monthly/quarterly/holiday promotional photo shoots and ad hoc promotional campaigns
- Other duties from time to time as assigned by General Manager

- Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time*** Knowledge/Education/Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in a digital / social capacity preferably in hospitality and / or travel. A BA/BS degree emphasizing sales, marketing, or other relevant field. Must be 21 due to involvement in and oversight of alcohol related events. Extensive knowledge of social media marketing programs & platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). Comfort with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Adobe products a plus - (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Passionate about social media, content marketing, and building The Ben brand. Photography, copy-writing skills, and content development experience required Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Must have strong English skills, both oral and written. Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills required. Ability to make timely, effective decisions. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to maintain good team member relations. Ability to develop and maintain effective guest and community relations. Flexible work hours including nights and weekends at times. Basic accounting procedures. Valid driver’s license with proof of auto liability insurance. Dependable.
