Position Overview
We are seeking part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our after-school program. This position is perfect for passionate professionals who enjoy working with children and want to build a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
As an RBT at The Behavior Place, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a meaningful difference in each child’s life.
Schedule
- Part-time (10–20 hours/week)
- Afternoon/evening shifts between 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM (hours vary)
- Monday through Friday (flexible scheduling available)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, center-based ABA therapy to children in 1:1 and small group settings
- Implement treatment plans and skill acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA
- Collect accurate data on client progress using electronic data systems
- Support children with daily routines, social skills, communication, and independence
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- Required: Active RBT certification through the BACB
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet state/federal requirements

Compensation
- Hourly rate: $20–$25/hour (depending on experience and credentials)
