Golf Course Horticulturist

About the Job

We’re looking for a Golf Course Horticulturist to help keep our course at the Bedens Brook Club looking beautiful and welcoming. You’ll take care of the gardens, trees, and landscaped areas that make our property stand out — and help create those eye-catching moments golfers and clubhouse guests remember.

What You’ll Do

• Design, plant, and maintain flowerbeds, gardens, and natural areas around the course and clubhouse areas.
• Choose plants that look great and thrive in our local climate.
• Keep an eye out for plant pests or diseases and help keep everything healthy.
• Prune trees and shrubs, improve soil, and handle day-to-day landscape care.
• Work with our irrigation team to make sure plants get the right amount of water.
• Help with tree care and long-term landscaping improvements.
• Pitch in on special projects like pollinator gardens, native plant areas, and beautification projects.
• Occasionally guide seasonal staff on horticulture tasks.
• Assist with Daily Golf Course Maintenance procedures when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in horticulture, landscaping, or plant care (golf course experience is a bonus, not a requirement).
• Solid plant knowledge — you know your shrubs from your perennials.
• Comfortable working outside in all sorts of weather.
• Can safely use landscaping tools and equipment.
• Someone creative, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited about making the course look amazing.
• A driver’s license is required; a pesticide license is great to have or willing to get.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
