What you bring to the table
Beck is looking for a talented and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join an extraordinary HR team in our corporate headquarters located in Downtown Dallas. The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for implementing and/or performing a variety of TA functions to include: sourcing, attracting, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding industry professionals, and implementing related policies and procedures.
The job involves the following essential functions:
- Provide guidance on and implement industry-leading TA policies and procedures
- For each open role: drive recruitment plan, build key competitive research, develop industry profiles, network and direct source
- Work to build relationships and earn the trust of candidates, hiring managers and the teams you are supporting
- Coach hiring managers and interview teams to ensure a consistent candidate experience and quality of hire
- Ensure every candidate is a perfect fit for us and we are the perfect fit for the candidate, maintaining full transparency through the process
- Own the candidate experience, providing an exceptional experience for every candidate
- Support our teams nationwide including offices in Dallas, Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Fort Worth, Tampa and, Fort Lauderdale
- Maintain all applicant and interview data in our Applicant Tracking System; provide reports on applicant flow and other TA information
- Negotiate and present offers of employment to candidates
Who we think will be a great fit
This individual will serve as a true business partner while working closely with stakeholders to ensure effectiveness and maintain a positive culture while facilitating and promoting HR and TA initiatives that align with our business objectives, goals and values.
You also meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related degree
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Talent Acquisition including full cycle recruiting, preferably for the construction/architecture (or similar) industry
- Experience with standard recruiting tools and platforms including ATS, job boards, social networks, etc.
- Successful track record of making connections and earning the trust of candidates, hiring managers and teams
- Excellent sourcing ability to track down hard-to-find candidates in limited talent pools
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new jobs and industries through partnerships with hiring managers and employees
- Other Human Resources experience strongly desired such as total rewards and recognition, employee relations and compliance
- Strong ability to work independently to achieve results by taking ownership of deliverables and being accountable
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated team player
- Exposure to employment law and federal/state compliance regulations
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
