Interior Design Coordinator I
Performs specific/limited portions of assignments using prescribed methods. Under supervision, works from the design of others and performs routine architectural assignments. Assignments may include higher-level work for training/development purposes. Must have the ability to utilize 3D modeling and graphic enhancement software and be able to create drawings to communicate design ideas and details.
Responsibilities
Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment, ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings, constantly communicates with project team and related parties, ability to maintain best practices related to architectural design and production, and ability to adhere to consistent attendance. May require travel or colocation. Walking frequently around the office or outdoors may be required. Ability to carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs.

Interior Design Coordinator I

Must have the ability to utilize 3D modeling and graphic enhancement software and be able to create drawings to communicate design ideas and details.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate awareness of company values and culture
- Conduct themselves professionally and represent the organization well
- Demonstrate awareness and understanding of Beck policies and standards
- Demonstrate awareness of BPM (Beck’s Best Practice Manual)
- Understand Beck’s sustainability best practices
- Conduct project specific research to better understand project and industry trends
- Participate in owner meetings and learn how to document those meetings
- Understand codes at a basic level and develop a working knowledge of accessibility, occupancy, egress, and plumbing fixtures calculations
- Understand how a set of construction documents is assembled
- Understand the preconstruction process, how projects are procured, and the impact of your work on the outcome
- Use Revit in a competent manner by using Beck Revit standards.
- Design visualization. Sketching, 3D modeling, Rendering. Pen, Sketch-up, Rhino, Revit, Lumion, Enscape
- Develop presentation content and design presentations. PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Verbal Presentation Skill. Effective verbal communication for comprehension.
- Coordination with product representatives, material and product research
- College graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in interior design or related field from a CIDA accredited school
- 0-2 years of experience
