The Beanstalk Academy has been a family-owned and operated Nursery School in Landing, NJ for over 30 years. We are looking for an Assistant Teacher to join our staff, especially during school hours. Our school’s children range from 1 year to 6 years old, as our Nursery School includes a Kindergarten. Duties for this role will include assisting other teachers in implementing the classroom's daily curriculum, activities, and routines; providing appropriate communication with parents; helping students with their activities; and maintaining an orderly and safe classroom environment. Must be reliable, team-oriented, and enjoy working with young children. Hours will vary depending on the applicant's availability, morning most needed! Monday through Friday hours available. Never weekends; we are not open. This position is great for a local parent or someone pursuing a career in education, or someone who wants to work with children in a caring and small environment. We are willing to accommodate schedule difficulties and family obligations.
