What You’ll Do
- Own and manage enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and security
- Design, implement, and maintain secure connectivity across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network and cloud-related issues impacting business-critical systems
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support enterprise platforms and SaaS solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in network architecture, segmentation, and access control
Enterprise Network Administration
You Have Hands-on Ownership Of Enterprise Networks, Including
- Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking (VLANs, routing, switching)
- Enterprise firewall platforms (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or equivalent)
- Firewall rule design, change management, and troubleshooting
- Site-to-site and remote access VPNs
- DNS and DHCP administration
- Network segmentation and access control
- Troubleshooting network issues impacting:
- Identity services
- Cloud platforms
- Microsoft 365 and SaaS applications
- Microsoft Azure administration (strong focus on networking)
- Hybrid environments integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure
- Secure connectivity design between environments
- Cloud networking concepts (private/public endpoints, secure access patterns)
- Active Directory administration
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Hybrid identity troubleshooting
- VMware ESXi / vSphere (or equivalent)
- Virtual networking within virtualization platforms
- VM lifecycle management and connectivity troubleshooting
- Windows Server (2016 / 2019 / 2022)
- PowerShell for administration and automation
- 5 years in a senior or lead role (Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or Cloud Administrator)
- Proven experience supporting production enterprise environments
- Demonstrated technical leadership and decision-making authority
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of infrastructure
