Requirements
Property Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Assist with unit turns, including preparing apartments for new residents.
- Conduct regular and preventative maintenance of the property to identify and address any issues.
- Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Must be available to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance or related field
- CPO preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
