Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead and implement age-appropriate training programs for youth baseball athletes (ages 8–18). The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in strength training, injury prevention, and movement literacy with a passion for working with youth.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver age-specific strength and conditioning programs focused on:
Mobility, stability, and movement quality
Power development and rotational explosiveness
Speed, agility, and change of direction
Recovery and injury prevention
Lead small group training sessions and individual athlete development plans
Collaborate with skill coaches and physical therapists to align training goals
Track and report athlete progress and communicate with parents as needed
Maintain a safe, engaging, and energetic training environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field (required)
CSCS, NASM-PES, or equivalent certification (required)
CPR/AED certification (required)
Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with youth or baseball athletes
Strong understanding of baseball-specific movement patterns and performance demands
Positive, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a baseball training facility or team environment
Knowledge of youth development models (LTAD, ADM, etc.)
Familiarity with performance technology and assessment tools (e.g., force plates, motion capture)
Schedule: Weekday afternoons and evenings, weekends
