DOG DAYCARE and HOTEL CUSTODIAN
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 18 years of age
- Physically fit and can lift at least 50lbs of weight
- Work a consistent schedule including Weekends and Holidays as needed
- Understand principles of cleaning and sanitation in a commercial kennel
- Reliable and punctual
- Work independently and have strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Previous custodian experience preferred
DUTIES:
- Accurately and independently track completed shift duties using virtual real-time list
- Cleans and maintains all areas of the facility
- Cleans and maintains floors, hard surfaces, walls, vents, furniture, equipment
- Handles/removes trash, recycling, and compost as assigned
- Provides emergency clean ups as needed
- Reports all unsafe conditions, equipment or tools to supervisor
- Assists staff moving furniture, lifting, etc. when required
- Maintains and puts away laundry within the facility
- Follows written schedules and verbal instructions
- Implements existing policies and procedures
- Responsible for learning and following all job safety policies and procedures
- Carries out job responsibilities in a manner that reflects concern for health and safety of clients, pet guests and co-workers
- Other duties as required by supervisor
HOURS:
- Monday & Tuesday: 7pm-11pm
- Occasional Holidays & Weekends for Fill In: 5pm-9pm
