Overview: The Barker Adoption Foundation is seeking a personable and dynamic Community Outreach Assistant to join our team. This role is important for expanding our reach and creating relationships within the community and faith-based organizations, as well as representing Barker at recruitment events. Seeking part-time candidates who are primarily available to work evening and weekend hours, as well as some traditional daytime hours to assist with events in the DMV area.Key Responsibilities:Represent The Barker Adoption Foundation at community events, faith-based organizations, and recruitment events.Identify and secure tabling opportunities at events throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia.Assist with the setup and breakdown of promotional materials at events, including tables, tents, and marketing materials.Effectively communicate the mission and values of The Barker Adoption Foundation to diverse audiences.Create relationships with various demographics to enhance community engagement and support.
