We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Marketing Operations to join our Corporate Marketing & Communications team. This role is located in New York.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Define and lead the long-term vision for marketing and communications operations, ensuring scalability, consistency, and alignment to business and brand objectives
- Serve as the department’s lead for Workfront strategy and adoption, driving integration, governance, and process standardization across global teams
- Oversee process design and operational frameworks that improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability across campaign activation, reporting and resource management
- Partner with planning and analytics teams to enable enterprise-level visibility into marketing capacity, prioritization, and performance
- Drive executive reporting and dashboards that connect marketing activity to business outcomes, providing actionable insights for senior leadership
- Collaborate with marketing technology and data teams to optimize the end-to-end ecosystem – including Workfront, CRM, analytics, and reporting tools – to enable seamless workflows and measurement
- Establish KPIs and performance frameworks that benchmark operational health and guide continuous improvement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating operational data and insights into recommendations that influence decision-making, investments and resource allocation
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 15 years of experience in marketing, operations, campaign management, or marketing strategy roles, with significant leadership responsibility
- Proven track record implementing enterprise marketing systems, e.g., Workfront
- Strong background in process design, change management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent data literacy, with the ability to connect reporting and analytics to business outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills, executive presence and strategic problem-solving ability

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
