Job Description

The Senior Wealth Manager serves as the trusted advisor to our affluent clients and their families, and provides comprehensive guidance to clients regarding investment, trust and estate, insurance, tax and banking needs. Senior Wealth Advisors work with clients to design and implement asset allocation strategies and financial plans that meet their unique circumstances, risk tolerance, goals and objectives.

The Senior Wealth Manager also develops thoughtful strategies that enhance client service delivery and manage risk, and works cooperatively within a team environment to harness all of the firm’s resources on behalf of the client. Additionally, the Senior Wealth Manager collaborates on potential new business opportunities, and enhances and expands the firm’s relationships with Centers of Influence within the community. In partnership with Wealth Directors, Fiduciary Specialists and Private Bankers, the Senior Wealth Manager is also responsible for developing current and future fee-based business.

Qualifications

Required Education or Equivalent Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field required
  • Master’s/Advanced Degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred
  • Required license(s) or certification(s) NASD Series 7, 63, and 65 (or Series 66 in place of Series 63 & 65)
  • A current portfolio AUM value of $200k or more that can be taken with you.

Required Experience

  • Years of functional/professional experience: At least 8 years of portfolio management experience in the investment management industry.
  • Currently managing a portfolio of affluent clients.

Field of Experience

  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services for the very affluent net worth individual market
  • Strong knowledge of consumer lending; credit, documentation and portfolio management
  • Strong knowledge of brokerage and investment products
  • Intermediate software application experience
