Role Description The Physical Therapist will provide direct patient care in an on-site, full-time role at The Balance Center in Lake Charles, LA. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions for patients with balance, gait, and vestibular issues as well as general mobility challenges. The therapist will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention strategies, and long-term management of functional limitations. Additional duties may involve documenting clinical findings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, participating in case conferences, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Knowledge of Medicine and Patient Care principles, with the ability to coordinate care across disciplines and communicate clearly with patients and families.
- Experience or interest in Home Care and continuity of care, including development of safe and effective home exercise and follow-up programs.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Louisiana.
- Excellent documentation, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs.
- Previous experience with vestibular, neurologic, or balance-related conditions is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional learning, and delivering inclusive, non-discriminatory patient care.
