Job Summary
Shift starts at 4:30am to 12:30pm

Duties
- Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings for baked goods with precision and consistency
- Bake a variety of products such as bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty items according to established recipes
- Decorate cakes and pastries with icing, fondant, or other creative toppings to enhance visual appeal
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, and pastry tools safely and efficiently
- Package baked goods for retail display or catering orders while maintaining freshness and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation procedures throughout your shift
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, portioning dough, and preparing ingredients for baking
Experience
- Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation within a high-volume food production environment
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques including dough preparation, cake decorating, and pastry crafting
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and kitchen equipment operation
- Previous experience working with recipes to ensure consistency and quality across large batches
- Customer service experience is a plus, especially in retail or catering settings
- Culinary experience that demonstrates knife skills, food safety management, and adherence to food industry regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen setting
