Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support daily store operations and help lead a team dedicated to providing exceptional service and high-quality products. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining our standards of excellence, boosting team morale, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and supervising staff.
- Prepare and serve specialty espresso drinks, iced beverages, frozen drinks, and a variety of breakfast/lunch sandwiches and food items.
- Greet and interact warmly with customers, creating a welcoming environment at the counter.
- Receive and process payments accurately; maintain and reconcile cash drawers.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels; organize stock to optimize product visibility and sales.
- Train, orient, and mentor new employees in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Complete daily paperwork and run daily bank deposits.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
- Support marketing initiatives and in-store promotions to increase customer engagement.
- Participate in hiring and interviewing potential team members.
- Demonstrate flexibility by being available to work at various locations as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a fast food or coffee shop environment.
- Management experience, with the ability to lead by example and inspire team performance.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with retail math and inventory/sales analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Warm, friendly, and cheerful personality with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive team environment.
- Serve-Safe Certification is a plus.
- Commitment to following company policies and cleaning/sanitation standards.
- Open availability and willingness to relocate within local store areas if necessary.
