Role Description
We are seeking a licensed psychologist to join and lead our Assessment & Behavioral and/ or Industrial / Organizational (I/O) Psychology Practice. This role is central to integrating evidence-based psychology, executive assessment, and applied behavioral science into our leadership and coaching engagements. As both a practitioner and thought leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the firm’s intellectual capital, delivering world-class assessments and interventions, and collaborating with fellow partners to grow the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice Leadership
- Lead the design, delivery, and innovation of executive psychological assessments, 360 instruments, and evidence-based leadership evaluations.
- Represent and sustain the firm’s behavioral psychology practice as a premier, differentiated offering within the market. developing frameworks, publishing insights, and presenting at various events or industry conferences.
- Client Engagement
- Conduct advanced psychological, cognitive, and behavioral assessments for senior executives and other leaders.
- Translate assessment data into actionable insights that support coaching, succession planning, team effectiveness, and organizational design.
- Partner with both clients and coaching colleagues to inform high-impact interventions and leadership journeys.
- Collaboration and Business Development
- Collaborate with other partners on complex executive coaching and consulting projects, ensuring a fully integrated, white-glove service approach.
- Build and nurture client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Psychology or related field
- Licensed MN psychologist with expertise in psychological assessment, leadership evaluation, and applied behavioral science.
- 5 years of experience in executive coaching, assessment, or leadership consulting contexts with a significant portion of that time working with senior executives.
- Strong command of psychometrics and validated assessment methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, counsel and lead others internally on assessments, processes, difficult coaching engagements or conflict resolution issues.
- Demonstrated ability to support the service delivery team by actively consulting on various engagements.
- Willingness to engage in business development, networking, client meetings and solution proposal activities.
- Commitment to work on an “as needed” basis for The Bailey Group.

Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Industrial/Organizational, Clinical, Counseling Psychology, or related field from an accredited US institution.
- 10 years of experience in executive coaching, assessment, or leadership consulting contexts with a significant portion of that time working with senior executives.
- Hogan LFS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
- Strong track record of thought leadership and/or published work within psychology and leadership development.
- Willingness to be a positive brand ambassador for The Bailey Group (TBG) through participation in public speaking, attendance at in-person events, publication of thought leadership articles, conducting webinars, workshops and participation in podcasts and other social media opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the demonstrated ability to build and scale a high-end consulting practice.
