Do you love bagels and coffee? The ideal candidate will have fun while helping run daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food and service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve amazing coffee and bagels
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Must be able to work early hours. Availablity between 5:30 and 3:00 and weekends.
- Must have availibility Thursday-Monday.
- Maintain cleanliness, including food preparation stations and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently managing multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the Bagel Company.
Experience
- Experience in deli or food service environment preferred but not required.
- Previous barista experience or a background in the coffee industry is helpful.
- Prep and baking experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with patrons.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential for maintaining a safe environment.
Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
