Description
The Backpackster is seeking two individuals to participate in a live product activation in Pacific Beach, San Diego.
Participants will test our wearable digital advertising prototypes while walking in a public environment and provide feedback that will help shape the future of our technology. This is an opportunity to experience an emerging advertising platform designed to allow people to earn income simply by walking.
Gig Details:
- Pay: $25 per hour
- Duration: 3 hours
- Location: Pacific Beach, San Diego
- Openings: 2 participants
Responsibilities:
- Walk a predetermined route in Pacific Beach while wearing a prototype backpack.
- Carry approximately 15 lbs (comparable to a typical middle school backpack).
- Interact with members of the public when appropriate and explain the concept:
- "We carry a digital billboard and get paid for it."
- Complete a short post activation survey describing your experience, including comfort, public interactions and suggestions for improvement.
- Arrive on time and maintain a professional and positive attitude throughout the activation.
Requirements:
- Comfortable walking for up to 3 hours.
- Able to carry a 15 lb backpack continuously.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with the public.
- Reliable transportation to Pacific Beach.
- Must be 18 years or older.
