Cashier/Clerk Part Time

We are looking for daytime clerks to join our team! The shift will vary depending on scheduling needs. Average day shift is 4-5 hours, and afternoon shift is 2-3 hours.

*Availability: Our shifts vary, with start times as early as 5:00 AM and shifts extending through 6:00 PM. You must be available for a variety of shift times, including early morning 5:00 AM starts. This is not a position where you can choose only one specific shift time.*

We are a small business with a small team, and we strive to be as flexible as possible in our employee's schedule. Employees need to be on time and show up for their scheduled shifts, so reliable transportation is a must. We are closed all major holidays so our employees can spend time with family. Compensation is dependent on experience, clerks earn tips while they are working!

This position has a combination of cashier, customer service, and food service responsibilities. Duties include food preparation - stocking display cases, preparing coffee and espresso drinks, prepping sandwiches and salads, and other grab and go items. Duties also include cash register and cash handling, providing accurate change; taking orders and assisting customers; cleaning tables, prep areas, machines, and storefront, and washing dishes.

Applicants must exhibit excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and problem solving abilities. Employees need to posses basic math skills and ability to count and provide accurate change. All employees are required to follow proper food handling and personal hygiene requirements. Serve Safe certification is preferred, but not required.
