What are the responsibilities and job description for the Friendly Tourist Boat Captain position at The Back and Forth?
We are expanding our fleet in Midcoast Maine! Currently looking for a part time and full time Captains to drive The Back & Forth, The Out & About
The positions are for 10-40 hours a week.
To Captain for us you must have a minimum 6 pax OUPV license - Operator of Un-inspected Passenger Vessel.
You must be a chatty, happy, outgoing person that is happy to help customers and make their experience and enjoyable one. The pay is also greatly boost with tips.
Being part of our team will be rewarding work and fun too. Cruising around and enjoying the bay throughout the summer, keeping our boats looking spick and span and offering great service to our customers will result in a happy, enjoyable place to work.
Position available from 20th May to 21st October. The busy season is July 4th - August 30th.
The pay is $50 tips per 1.5hr -2hr trip. We run up to 5 trips a day.
We operate with a 24 hr cut off for automatic reservations, so you have the choice to be on call for your scheduled days or only run the trips already booked for any given day. That can change day by day if you want to remain flexible, or it can be a rule if you want to make the most of your days off.
