Location: Farmingdale, NY (travel to retail locations, company vehicle provided)
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We’re hiring Facilities Maintenance Mechanics to support the upkeep of multiple showroom and retail properties across New York.
Mechanics will report to the Farmingdale headquarters and travel regularly to store locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure facilities meet safety and appearance standards.
- Respond to maintenance requests quickly and professionally.
Preferred Skills
- Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, or HVAC
- Lock systems and low-voltage wiring (Cat5/6, telephone)
- Landscaping and exterior maintenance
- Use of ladders, scissor lifts, and bucket trucks
Qualifications
- Prior maintenance or facilities experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Own basic tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
