Server and Bartender

The Babe, Salem's Point neighborhood bar and restaurant opened in February of 2024. We are becoming a staple of the neighborhood and are looking for talented hospitality professionals to be a part of our third summer season team.

We are now hiring seasonal summer through October servers. We are accepting resumes at our location 268 Washington Street.

Individuals who take pride in the quality of their service will be successful in our environment. We believe great hospitality comes with teamwork, kindness, and authenticity. We have fun while taking the product and level of hospitality seriously.

We are hiring primarily experience bartenders who are willing to pick up serving shifts as well, we encourage a flexible schedule so you can pick-up shifts from other staff, and will cross train for the most opportunities for scheduling.

About the Restaurant:

• The Babe draws inspiration from the long history of its location, where it has remained a casual joint for the local community dating back to the 1960's
• The beverage program will be fun and approachable while still being really well executed. We want everyone to feel welcome and do not want fussiness to take precedent over having a good time! Everything from a shot and a cold beer to a perfect negroni or signature cocktail is fair game.
• The cocktail program is all about really well made classic cocktails as well as creative originals. Everything will be made with fresh citrus squeezed daily, house made syrups, and the best spirits.
• The food menu is focused on delicious filling sandwiches made with the absolute best ingredients as well as classic bar snacks. Think sliced to order Italian subs, perfectly seared burgers made with beef ground fresh every day, and the perfect tangy-spicy-crispy chicken wings
• The restaurant will feature live music on a rotating basis that is designed to compliment the environment
• We will be open for bar guests as well as diners looking to sit and relax with snacks or dinner and drinks
