Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Perform sales goals
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and recommendations
- Handle credit and debit transactions with precision and ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Upsell products and promote special offers or promotions to increase sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos when necessary to educate customers about new or featured items
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming for customers
- Demonstrate sales floor etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance
Experience
- Must be 18 and authorized to work in the US
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership opportunities
- Strong communications skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
