Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Dessert Preparation:
- Prepare a variety of desserts, including cakes, pastries, and ice cream, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure that all desserts are fresh and visually appealing, with attention to taste, texture, and appearance.
- Assist in the development of new dessert menu items, including seasonal offerings.
- Baking and Finishing:
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and blenders to bake desserts.
- Plate and garnish desserts in an attractive manner before serving to guests.
- Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor and manage dessert ingredients and supplies, ensuring they are fresh and in stock.
- Report any shortages or equipment issues to the kitchen manager.
- Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including all baking and plating tools.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dessert cook, pastry chef, or baker is required.
