Position Overview:
The Busser plays an essential role in ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The ideal candidate is efficient, attentive, and committed to supporting the waitstaff in delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Table Maintenance:
- Clear tables of dishes, utensils, and glasses promptly and efficiently after guests leave.
- Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware for the next guests.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
- Dining Room Cleanliness:
- Sweep and mop floors, clean surfaces, and ensure the overall cleanliness of the dining room.
- Keep service stations stocked with supplies, such as napkins, cutlery, and condiments.
- Remove trash and clean up spills immediately to ensure a safe environment.
- Support to Waitstaff:
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables when necessary.
- Refill water glasses and assist guests with any requests during their meal.
- Communicate with the waitstaff and kitchen to ensure efficient service flow.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required, but restaurant experience is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
