About The Role
As a Manager for the Beauty Sourcing and Planning team, you will focus on Contract Manufacturing and Direct Materials (Components, Raw Ingredients and Packaging). You will use industry expertise and vendor relationships to promote cost savings using our current suppliers and researching new alternative sources of supply.

You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Sourcing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee finished goods inventory, service, and cost for the product categories supported, in addition to developing supplier relationships to support those goals.
- Negotiate component, raw Ingredient, contract manufacturing terms and minimum order quantities (MOQ) for new product launches and items already existing in the portfolio
- Build and sustain team members relationships with Marketing, Package Engineering, Quality, Demand Planning, Project Management, and Finance
- Establish supplier selection criteria, evaluate alternative suppliers, manage the RFQ process, and guide final supplier selection
- Identify any challenges and opportunities with the supply plans (lead-times, capacity constraints), prepare analysis and communicate with Category Team with recommended action plans specifically in areas of supply and production planning with projected impact to goals
- Improve and rationalize supply base on an ongoing basis
- Partner with and support Planning by being an active participant with regards to mitigation of service issues for both new and inline products
- Experience sourcing Beauty products
- 5 years professional experience in sourcing and procurement
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field
- Experience managing the contract, sourcing and negotiation with third-party suppliers to achieve an appropriate balance of quality and cost
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets and write advanced macros)
- Strong analytical skills, a passion for slicing and dicing data and knack for summarizing findings for senior leadership
- Change management experience with the ability to manage complexity while working collaboratively.
