The Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) is responsible for supporting the development and execution of category brand strategies across all channels.The ABM works collaboratively with cross-functional partners to ensure flawless execution at all Representative and Consumer touch points for all base and new products.The ABM establishes meaningful relationships and partnerships with multiple teams (HQ GBU, Sales, Learning & Development, etc.).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead channel management across e-commerce and retail, overseeing launches, promotional planning, sales performance, and profitability optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support retail expansion initiatives, including buyer presentations, new account onboarding, and sell-through acceleration.
  • Supports developing a rolling product innovation calendar in many possible ways of product development timelines.
  • Help guide decision making on the evolution of the respective product portfolio by leveraging data, consumer insights and product expertise.
  • Supporting the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration with cross-functional team to launch on time.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the brand management from initial concept to go-to-market including but not limited to: concept brief, copy, product positioning, competitive advantage, copy, artwork, etc.
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across the channels.
  • Evaluate analytics including but not limited to: sales, profitability, stocks, SKUs, etc., to extract key insights for future product development and go-to-market strategies and growing the category or brand in the market, by helping to complete with formal proposals and recommendations on strategies and tactics.
  • Execute and track projects with a detailed understanding of the NPD process.
  • Manage spreadsheets for tracking products/projects for weekly/daily reviews as necessary.
  • Interface with outside vendors to manage, receive, track and classify vendor information, sample submissions, fact sheets, costs and quantities.
  • Help to drive NPD process across teams, internal and external.
  • Help guide decision making regarding the content and production of all channels.
  • Close partnership with relevant cross-functional teams, to build but not limited to brand awareness, sales, profitability, stock levels, etc. by leading and gaining alignment.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 4 years of progressive, successful experience in product development and/or brand marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience marketing in a digital-first environment, including social media, e-commerce, analytics, and online platforms.
  • Experience in marketing, preferably in beauty, skincare, or consumer products.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of data-driven decision making.
  • Deep understanding of market and consumer trends, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience partnering closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to develop innovative products, supported by compelling storytelling and effective execution.
  • Bilingual Korean/ English preferred
