Please apply NOW!Our Mission: We are professionals committed to serving others, nurturing life, and promoting an individual’s ability to thrive.Position Summary:Provide assistance and support in all food functions including preparation, processing, delivery to patients, etc. as directed/instructed and in accordance with established policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Cook as requestedHelp with meal preparation in accordance with patient dietary needsAssist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearanceTimely setting up of meal service, maintenance of food carts and delivery of meal traysAdheres to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean upKeeps work areas clean (sweep/mop floors, sterilize counter tops, wipe down storage areas, etc.)Wash and clean cooking equipment, utensils, meal service trays, etc.Return clean dishes and utensils to the proper storage areasCollect and carry out garbageDispose of food and waste per facility regulationsPrep food supplies for the next mealFollow all safety regulations and precautions at all timesMaintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care informationWe are a skilled nursing facility committed to serving others, nurturing life, and promoting an individual’s ability to thrive.
