What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Driver position at THE AVENUE CARE AND REHABILITATION CENTER?
Do you love helping others and enjoy being on the move? We're looking for a caring and dependable Transportation Driver to safely transport our residents to appointments, outings, and activities—while providing the support they need along the way.
If you're already a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), fantastic If not—no worries. We'll provide the training to get you certified. All you need is a heart for service and a willingness to learn.
? What You'll Do:
- Safely drive residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community events
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles with compassion and care
- Monitor resident well-being during transport and respond to basic needs
- Keep the transport vehicle clean, safe, and ready to roll
- Coordinate with nursing and scheduling teams for smooth transitions
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- STNA certification preferred—but training is available if you're not yet certified
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- CPR certification a plus

Salary : $35,000 - $55,000
