Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving practices and prevent over-intoxication.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for events including banquets, catering functions, or nightclub nights.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless food and beverage service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele positively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous.
