Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the Square POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Process payments efficiently using POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Uphold all food safety standards and regulations to ensure guest health and safety.
Experience
- Previous experience as a bartender is a plus; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary basics is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
