Forklift Operator/Yard Attendant
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift in dirt yard
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials and equipment.
- Check incoming materials for shortages
- Collect and deliver a wide variety of materials and equipment while adhering to established safety procedures.
- Deliver materials and equipment to designated areas as directed.
- Pull pallets and place them accordingly in sale order and to be able to walk around them.
- Pull material and eqiupment and load trucks as needed.
- All paperwork must be in order and accurate (ex: shipping documents, receipts, etc.).
Forklift Operator/Yard Attendant
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Forklift Certification a plus
- Ability to use basic computer software
- Ability to work without close supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to push and/or pull up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on dirt surface.
- Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, reach, climb and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties.
