Position Overview
Atrium Hotel & Suites DFW is seeking an experienced Senior Hotel Sales Manager to drive group, corporate, and leisure sales for our property. This role is ideal for a seasoned hotel sales professional with a proven track record of building client relationships, exceeding revenue goals, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. The Senior Hotel Sales Manager will lead strategic sales initiatives, foster partnerships, and ensure seamless execution of group bookings and events.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth: Generate and manage leads for group bookings, corporate accounts, and leisure travel through proactive outreach, industry networks, and platforms such as Cvent, Delphi, or similar systems.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, travel planners, and local businesses, representing Atrium Hotel & Suites DFW with professionalism and integrity.
Negotiate Contracts: Create compelling proposals and negotiate contracts to maximize revenue and profitability while meeting client needs and expectations.
Proactive Sales Strategies: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group travel, and event bookings, by attending industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Foster Guest Loyalty: Drive repeat business and guest satisfaction through personalized service and tailored solutions.
Collaborate with Operations: Partner with the hotel’s operations team, including the General Manager and Events team, to ensure flawless execution of group bookings and events, delivering exceptional client experiences.
Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Department to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns to boost bookings and brand visibility.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospitality industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices to position Atrium Hotel & Suites as a market leader.
Compliance and Teamwork: Adhere to Atrium’s high standards of service while collaborating harmoniously with colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hotel sales experience, with a focus on group, corporate, or leisure markets. Experience in an airport or independent hotel setting is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Proven organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
Proficiency in hotel sales platforms (e.g., Cvent, Delphi, or similar systems).
