Director of Patient Activities

The Atrium at Navesink Harbor is seeking a Director of Patient Activities to join our team!

The Atrium at Navesink Harbor is a Springpoint Senior Living Facility located in Red Bank, NJ. We are currently seeking a FT Director of Patient Activities to join our team. At Springpoint, our Director of Patient Activities is responsible for providing a diversity of leisure pursuits that will enhance the quality of life of each resident in either a group or individual setting based upon the individual's mental and physical capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the quality of activities.
• Maintain goals and objectives, standards of practice, and quality assurance program for the Patient Activities Department.
• Determine departmental staffing requirements. Assist in recruitment, interviewing and selection of personnel.
• Administer performance appraisal system and disciplinary action procedures, according to policy.
• Make departmental financial adjustment in order to conform to the approved budget.
• Develop a written monthly activities schedule at least one month in advance, post and distribute based upon facility policy.
• Organize and meet with a Resident Council Committee.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Pay Rate: $60,000- $62,000
