What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Administrator/Cyber Security position at The Atley Group?
My client is looking for a hands on Cyber Security/IT Administrator.
Leading CMMC Level 2 Compliance Implementation, strengthening cybersecurity posture,
supporting ERP Systems, specifically SAP. Ensure ongoing compliance with NIST 800-171 and
DFARS regulations.
Develop and enforce IT security policies. Perform regular system audits, vulnerability assessments and incident response planning.
Administer and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, network firewalls, and virtualization environments. Manage cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) alongside on-premises servers. Maintain backups, disaster recovery systems, and business continuity readiness.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5 years of progressive IT systems administration experience, including hands-on server, network, and security management. Demonstrated expertise in CMMC, NIST 800-171, and DFARS compliance. Proficiency with SAP ERP systems in a support/admin capacity. Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and network firewalls. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, endpoint protection, and incident response. Ability to balance hands-on technical support with strategic compliance responsibilities.
