UTILITY ENGINEER – The Atlantic City Sewerage Company (“ACSC”) is an investor-owned public utility operating a wastewater collection system servicing the City of Atlantic City. ACSC is seeking a qualified candidate to assume the full-time position and duties of UTILITY ENGINEER.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
UTILITY ENGINEER – The Atlantic City Sewerage Company (“ACSC”) is an investor-owned public utility operating a wastewater collection system servicing the City of Atlantic City. ACSC is seeking a qualified candidate to assume the full-time position and duties of UTILITY ENGINEER.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in design and maintenance of wastewater collection systems
- Knowledge of Wastewater Pump Systems
- PE or completed the Engineer-In-Training exam a plus
- Applicants must have or be willing to work towards a C-4 Collection License
- Certified Municipal Engineer a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills to enable internal teamwork and external relationship building
- Experience in dealing with outside contractors and engineers
- Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of GIS Mapping / CAD Software
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Engineering Project Management and Portions of Design
- Field Checking Project Progress
- Coordinating with Outside Agencies, Contractors, ACSC Supervisors and Engineering Department
- Assist with developing and tracking capital budgets
- Updating Inventory Maps
- Assist with developing and managing safety programs and procedures
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
