About the Role
ASTA is seeking an Onsite Manager / Team Lead to lead a general support services team for DHS strategic planning and analysis. This organization drives data-driven strategy, planning, and analysis for its mission, and our team helps its divisions run efficiently so federal staff can stay focused on mission-critical work. As the onsite leader, you'll be the day-to-day face of the contract to government leadership and the person they count on to keep work moving smoothly, even as priorities shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at serving as the key link between a team and its federal customer.
What You'll Do
Supervise and coordinate a team of administrative and analytical support personnel, ensuring quality and adherence to contract requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for government staff, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
Manage task prioritization and resource allocation as priorities change across divisions and projects.
Prepare and deliver status reports, staffing rosters, and briefings for government leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (business administration, management, public administration, or a related field preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity overseeing administrative, operational, or business support teams.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and data reporting tools such as Power BI.
Demonstrated ability to manage personnel, coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
Must be able to obtain and retain a CBP background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting DHS or other federal law enforcement organizations.
Experience serving as a contractor liaison to a government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or program office.
Familiarity with preparing status reports, staffing rosters, and executive briefings.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
