Every TAF team member plays an important role in helping our organization support our patients. We strive to do this in the most efficient, compliant and compassionate manner possible.

  • Hourly Rate: $17.00/Hour
  • Start Date: September 14, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday. 8:45 am - 5:45 pm
  • Employees work a hybrid work schedule after 5 (five) weeks of in-office training has been completed. The current hybrid schedule consists of one in-office day per week and four remote workdays

Summary of Position:

The Patient Advocate serves as the primary point of contact for program participants, providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional support throughout their journey. This role is critical in ensuring patients understand program requirements, maintain adherence, and have access to resources that positively impact their health and well-being. The Patient Advocate combines strong customer service skills with a deep understanding of program operations to resolve issues, promote compliance, and deliver an exceptional patient experience. Working closely with the Operations Management team, the Patient Advocate helps achieve departmental goals, contributes feedback to enhance processes, and ensures compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards. The role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a patient book of business with efficiency and care, ultimately supporting the organization’s mission to improve the lives of those it serves.

Job Responsibilities:

The Patient Advocate, responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Answer inbound calls and provide personalized, professional customer service with accurate and timely responses.
  • Conduct outbound call campaigns to communicate program enrollment and program adherence and follow up requirements.
  • Manage a patient book of business to ensure patient adherence and program compliance.
  • Comply with HIPAA patient privacy and security regulation standards and applicable patient authentication and data security standards
  • Meet or exceed program objectives, including call center and telephone metric goals, application review accuracy, and attendance standards.
  • Identify challenges faced by participants and propose process improvements or program enhancements.
  • Accurately update Salesforce to reflect current statuses of program participants, including but not limited to, all written or verbal communications, issues, and application submissions.
  • Support and contribute to a conducive work environment that encourages camaraderie, open communication, and understanding.
  • Regularly provide feedback on the effectiveness and soundness of program policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and ability to work as a team member to achieve customer goals and satisfaction.
  • Perform special projects on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of call center experience, preferably pharmacy call center.
  • Professional level skills in computer use, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications, and keyboard skills.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly, specifically in accordance with organizational and program policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in customer care and provide professional level service.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to facilitate work with a wide range of individuals and groups from culturally diverse publics.
  • Proven ability to multitask and maintain organization in a working from home office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) fluency.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
